Well you can't win them all. Who here is happy with 6 of 7 and going to back to Boston 1 game under with powder puff competition rolling in?

They were going to have to lose sometime. Now they got it out of their systems, they can sweep the A's at home.

3 runs isn't too much to overcome in the 9th.

Especially with Pedroia leading off.

Still. I'm not going to jump the bridge if we don't pull it off. We've had an excellent week in all facets of the game.

Sort of a bum deal for Tazawa....Hung the curve...got burned...the rest of his pitches were made in good locations I thought.

Yup. Everything's clicking and we are in a position to really kick some ass in the next few weeks. We're in fantastic shape.

This years oki.

Oki had a gimmick. His delivery was so screwy that opposing batters could not help but laugh and therefore made a lot of outs against him.

Tazawa seems to have a good arsenal of pitches, good velocity, and generally pretty good command. I think he will be around for a while.

Oh well. This one is ovah.

I'll take a 6-1 road trip. Gotta beat the A's pitching-best in the AL.

We'll take care of Oakland. They got owned by Baltimore.

Where's Gonzo power stroke?

He hasn't really had it since the Homerun Derby. The same thing happened to Bobby Abreu a few years ago.

I think AGons stroke is what it is now because that is how he wants it to be. I have no argument with him not being focused on lifting the ball. He gets lots of doubles, many of them Fenway wall balls. I don't like the number of times he swings at the first pitch he sees but I really don't have an issue with his stroke.

We often wonder about him coming out of the All Star HRD having aggravated the shoulder from the number of swings. Maybe trying to lift the ball causes him some discomfort.

I think the HR's you see from Agons will be like his 1at this year, a flat stroke at a high, fastball that had to much of the plate. He lined that over the fence. I would expect more of those when he does homer.

Adgon went from a power hitter with good contact numbers to a batting title contender with good power.

Considering he hits in the 3 hole you can get your money's worth out of either one.

He said in an interview prior to this season that it's really his first healthy season in the past two years. So, we should see a better performing Gonz this year. His BA is nice but I was hoping for more production. Maybe Ortiz is just over-shadowing him right now. He's still awesome, Gonzalez.

Didn't mind losing so much. Just didn't want the no-hitter against us!

6 road wins? IN A ROW......Fk'n sweet.

Time to win 3 at home!!!
