I feel great about that win. Doubie looked great, Scotty Atch did great, we came back (with Pedey as the offensive spark plug as per usual), and Alfredo gets some confidence and comes through with what he knew he could do in getting the save.

 

I apologize for posting the NYY score updates earlier, and for being a prick to Sweet Chin music. Hope I didn't offend anyone.

As I said, this team is showing WAY more fight than they did at the end of last year. They came back in two of the games in Detroit and then in this win tonite. Last year once we got behind in September it seemed we could never come back and win.

And yes, winning makes all the difference. Sox fans are emotional about their team, especially the die hards on Sox boards. I don't think there is anything wrong with that.

Great all around win especially for the pitching. Aceves work tonight earns himself another shot at closing. Now if he can just remember to breath and pitch instead of just throwing the ball like he did the first two times out he might just be OK closing.

 

I thought Doubront was terrific especially considering the starting pitching needed a boost from somewhere.
