seriously, two pitches giving up so many runs....horrific. if they don't win the wildcard, theo should get fired for sure...because for all the credit he's given, he's really pulled some real idiotic moves with BIG money....can you say Dice-K (100 million) Drew (85 million) Lackey (85 million) and Crawford (120 million) not positive about all the numbers, but say ballpark 375 to 390 million bucks, 4 players, NONE of them contributing in any real way this season.

Tito just can't seem to do anything right with pitching--no matter how hard he tries. Maybe he just tries too hard? His selection out of the bullpen never seems right. His timing on changing pitchers is often questionable. It's a shame. He does other things well. Except for the pitching.

I don't, he gave up 5 through 5 innings. The guys been average his whole career and he should have retired years ago. I'm sick of the loyalty some of these guys show. You are paying them for the PRESENT, not the past. Wake doesn't deserve 200 wins. I don't care how hard he works or how many times they give him the ball. He's had more opportunities to notch it than he should have, he's costing the team wins every time he takes the mound. Enough is enough.

 

I'm just sick of how pathetic our pitching staff has ended up year after year. Enough with the long shots and questionable contracts. If Tampa can build a great rotation and be in contention with no money or fans, there's no reason we shouldn't be dominant.

It would be 2 runs and tied preserved if Albers did his job. part of the bullpen is to back one and another up. You seen it so many times Bard coming in to clean someone else messes. it's a rare thing to pulled him, that's when your closer should be ready.
