A team without Beltre

 

Well to be fair, Beltre's replacement, Moreland, went 2/4, so it's not like they are getting zero production out of the slot where Beltre would be hitting. To say that Beltre would have had a better night than 2/4 is a pretty bold statement.

Hitting against Lackey, that would not be a bold statement for the back up catcher.

It doesn't even meet the watered down standard of a quality start. Nevertheless, he has been very useful of late and he has kept the team in games and given them a chance to win.
