I went to sleep yesterday at 5:00 a.m. or something...

 

I went to sleep at 5:30 a.m and got about 2 hours sleep. f***ing insomnia at it's best. I had to run errands all day and I had plans. I've never wanted a sox game to end so bad. I'm extremely tired.

I blame Ellsbury for not scoring on the grounder while he was at 3rd and the umpires for calling him out when he slid into home and Bard tagged him with an empty glove as the ball was in his other hand.

 

I would not be surprised if some fan boy tried to blame Aviles though even though he was 2-3.

He's an emergency 3B because Youkilis is hurt. It's not like he's a regular 3B. And hitting .381 outweighs anything he does on defense.

That's a700's specialty. He argued for a month that we should get Beltran and he would only cost cash considerations and made fun of posters who disagreed. When Beltran required one of the best pitching prospects in baseball, he didn't make a peep. He also maintains to this day that Salty's not an adequate catcher based on his April performance.

 

He's been a fan for a long time, but he acts like a spoiled pink hat when he doesn't get his way.

I remember when people wanted to trade Papelbon for Jeremy Reed when we needed a CFer. I get it I guess. Frustrating game, but lets not forget, Aviles didn't kill it for us. If Beckett could have kept his s*** together in the 1st and if there weren't so many DP's maybe we have a chance in this game.

 

Oh well, we haven't been losing series and thats key. Split a couple ugly ones against KC and CLE, but we haven't all out lost one yet while those do feel like lost series. If we keep taking 2/3 and 3/4 at a good clip, we'll be in the playoffs by a mile and probably take the East. Here's hopin'

Well, his Rdrs as a SS is certainly 13. But as a 2B, he is -9, as a 3B? he is -3, as an OF? he is -1...

 

As an utility player (overall positions played)?, His Rdsr is -1 through 4 season, so... As an utility player, which is the role that he will assume (not as a SS; you are right at that point) he plays poor defense, below the average.

Well, I see the game threads just as when you are watching the games with a couple friends, drinking some beers, making some jokes, sharing all kind of emotions, comment about how good or bad was a certain play/player, debate about something, etc.... For the only reason: to have some fun time, that's it! So... If someone shares any emotion/opinion ABOUT THE GAME, a good one or a bad one, it's ok for me, I don't take it personal at all, so...Keep rolling and Enjoy it!:thumbsup:

Thanks. I will. At least, I only criticize the way the players play the game. Other posters like to criticize posters. That's out of line in a GT or any thread.
