Really really good sign that the guy is ready to go, if he can come right back after a long layoff and buckle down like that too.

Remember when Andre Ethier's hitting streak was so highly publicized in national sports media? Why isn't Pedroia getting similar attention?

If Pedroia's gets to 30' date=' he'll start getting plenty of attention as well.[/quote']

Yeah. Pedroia gets up to 25+ maybe 27+ he'll start getting the attention, too. Though he did break the AL streak of 19, Ellsbury's, recently. No attention for that.

What.. On. Earth. Was. That?????

Tito you IDIOT!!!!! No way that didn't come from the dugout, and it was on freaking ball 4. And it was Ortiz running. And our hittest hitter was coming up. That was VERY stupid.

Every niow and again I'm sure Tito looks back at moves he tried to make and wonders just what he was thinking at the time. I'm sure that was one.

Is it entirely impossible that it was a missed sign? If so though, both Ortiz and Crawford misinterpreted the sign in the same way.

You can't really fault Tito there if that was his call considering Crawford not only swung at ball 4, but swung through it. You're counting on the player to take ball 4 or make contact there.

Here comes Johnny singing I Gotta Woman

Down in the tunnels, trying to make it pay

He got the action, he got the motion

Yeah, the boy can play

73. Francona said his PC limit is between 80-90.

Then I'd send him back out. He should be able to pitch an inning in less than 17 pitches.

This might be sacrilege, but Ellsbury is swinging too big. Needs to shorten his swing a little. He needs to make sure he stays consistent with his batting average first and foremost.
