The team I'm more worried about scooping up Ellsbury is the Angels. He's perfect for them.

If we assume Lowrie, I don't deal for another shortstop. Lowrie isn't great defensively but he's an adequate overall package and can hold us until Iglesias is ready.

You can probably combine Lowrie with a guy like Yamaico Navarro to adequate effect. Give Navarro some at bats and he can probably learn to hit a little. He has at every level he's plyed.

Iglesias doesn't have to hit on this team. They just need his defense.

I don't think Ellsbury will be going anywhere if he continues to play the way he has lately. They will make him an offer he can't refuse if they think he's worth it. He's still a young guy. This isn't a Johnny Damon situation.

If Ellsbury continues to play good defense, we will extend him. The largest issue we had with him going into last year was his sub-par defense in 2009.
