Well I see no reason NOT to extrapolate this information to make a projection for tonight's game. I think it's fairly obvious that Sabathia is trending toward 7.2 IP, 11 runs, 8 K's, right?

The information I was hoping that people would extrapolate was that the Sox are getting a W tonight

Well, this is what he's faced since May...

Our offense is definitely something else in the AL. We're #1 BA, #1 OBP, #1 OPS and #2 SLG so far.

By Peter Abraham, Globe Staff

NEW YORK — How the Red Sox rank in the American League offensively:

Runs: 1st at 5.03 a game

BA: 1st at .270

OBP: 1st at .343

SLG: 2nd at .440

OPS: 1st at .783

HR: 3rd at 71

2B: 1st at 127

They're also 35-26, 1.5 games behind the Phillies for the best record in baseball. It's the best record in the AL.

It is official-- Crawford will be hitting in the bottom 4 spots of the order for the rest of his career in Boston.

Let's wait until we face a RHP before we jump to conclusions. I bet he's 2 vs a RHP.

oks, CC didn't have the enough numbers in order to get the 2nd spot, but Scutaro? really?, I really don't understand... somebody explain to me... like i was 10 years old please. Jed and CC have better OBP in any split you want to see.

It's all because there is a lefty pitching I think.

Um... go check Scutaro's career numbers VS CC and you'll have you're answers

GordonEdes Francona on Pedroia: "I don't think he's going to miss any time.''

That is a tweet from Gordon Edes obviously tweeted just a few minutes ago...let's hope and pray he is right. Yanks just got floored with terrible news about Joba. Tommy John in his future

I don't understand why Jeter leads off for the Yankees. That just seems idiotic.

Lots of idiotic things going on in the Bronx. Might be a good yr to take a step back so we can make a leap forward. Very intrigued to see what happens with this team. I wouldnt mind Freddy Garcia going down with TJS. Cmon duct tape Freddy, rip the UCL for me, please!!
