I thought Aceves was sent down to get stretched out? I'd rather have wakefield on this staff than Okajima at this point. Atleast Wakefield can eat worthless innings-- what is Okie good for?

I'm not sure why they need to stretch out Aceves. They don't have an opening in the rotation. As for Oki v. Wakefield, I just don't think Wakefield has anything left in the tank to fill any role.

Well if DiceK gets rocked in his next couple outings, or if someone gets bumped to the DL and needs to miss 2 or 3 starts, I'd rather have Ace coming in than Wake. Having said that, I'd also have Ace in the pen than Wakefield. Wakefield is entirely too one-dimensional to take up a bullpen spot.

Youk's X-Rays came back negative and it looks to be only a slight bruise, Youk is very sore but he should be back in the line-up soon. Great news.

Yeah. I thought Doubront was being sent down to get stretched out to cover a DL stint for a starter. The long man only needs to go 3 or 4 innings if a starter bombs. Do they need to stretch him out for that? I don't think so.
