Yeszir, I sent you a PM about this, but you never got back to me. Have you or have you not received my dues? Because it says I still owe the $20.

I hope everyone remembers to set their clocks ahead one hour on Sat. 3/12/11. Son't know how that affects you BSNO7. Just as heads up.

It might work better for me. Not sure when we go ahead. There is usually a couple week span where we are only 5 hours ahead. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeszir, I'm having issues with my bank and paypal. I'm trying to get it sorted, but we just started our training outside opening weekend. So I have been swamped and haven't go done yet. Will get it done as soon as I can.

Dues sent.

I had issues with paypal (yet again) so i had to use my friend's account, and since it is nearly impossible to send a PM and my talksox account remains crewed up, here are the transaction details:

(Unique Transaction ID # 7W896095VA4065936)

The name of the person whose account i used (and i got his permission to post his name beforehand) is Luis Jonathan Roa Ramirez.

Sunday is not a good day for me, by the way, since i will probably be taking an online exam right about at the same time of the draft.

Ok, updated dues. It still looks like 5 people haven't gotten them in....although I think I'm missing one or two. If it says you still owe but you send the money in, please let me know.

I'm confused. How do you come late to a draft you arranged and then draft a player that's already on the DL for the year ?

Okay, I got it your convicned that your abilities are superior to us mere mortals, and decided to equal the playing field. What a guy ! BTW, I'd join the chat, but I can't type that fast.

Of course, last year I picked Ryan Franklin in the fifth round instead of Ben Zobrist, so these things happen.

Maybe I know things you don't?

I had dragged him over for whatever reason and instead of clicking the 'x' I tried to drag him off to the left, thinking that would remove him from the list. Nope, and now I have wainwright.

Did that draft date get changed? I had in my calendar march 16... it got moved up and i missed it. I'll paypal you the league dues but I'm not happy.

All right, let the trade talk begin. I've got a lot of pitching. Hudson, Zambrano, Jackson, Chacin, and Garza are all on the table.

I also have a surplus of talent at 2B in Beckham, Raburn (OF and 2B eligibility), and Nishioka (2B and SS eligibility). I'm looking for a catcher.

I took some risk in drafting and making post-draft substitutions for my lineup, but early on (ST performance and Opening Day) it's looking like it will be a monster.

If you couldn't already tell from looking at my roster, I've totally punted the SV category - using SP/RP eligible players who will be starting primarily in the RP slots - in an attempt to pick up more QS and K's (a two for one tradeoff). We'll see how that goes.

That's because I consider him more of a performance risk - due to coming back from injury - than a I do an injury risk. I'm not too worried about him being healthy this year, but I do have concern about how good he can be when he gets back.

I don't know how well that will work with a six inning minimum requirement. Someone can load up on RP and set up guys and have a couple of quality starters. It would be pretty easy to lose 3 or 4 out of 5 points. But, we'll see.

Nice pickup of Brandon Belt, SFOC. I was planning on getting him off the WW myself, only I wasn't exactly sure who to drop for him. I may be kicking myself for my indecision by season's end.

Three, maybe, but not likely on 4. Again, I'm a good bet to get QS and K via the volume of starts and innings my pitchers will pitch each week. A lot of RP are very unlikely to put up enough K's to beat a large group of starters. What will be up in the air is ERA & WHIP. A good week from an RP loaded roster will make those categories a challenge. However, a bad outing from an RP will make it difficult to wash them out as the volume of innings will be low, and a bad start by a SP on my end will be easier to come back from because I will have a high volume of IP.

There's definitely risk there, but there's good reasons for it to work out.
