OFFICIAL 2011 Fantasy Baseball League

I think it would be best if I ran the official 2011 Talksox fantasy baseball league. As usual this will be done through Yahoo with a live draft to be set at a fair time in the not too distant future.

 

Open to discussion but I think a $20 entry fee is fair, to keep users active and to have some form of prize at the end. I'll handle money collection and safekeeping. I can even accept credit cards through paypal if that's a concern.

 

As a group we can work out the details but this will be head to head with stats TBD. Anyone who is not banned can join this league.

This is fantasy baseball, it should be competitive and fun. Maybe we could get some ban agreements in place for abandoning your team midway through the season.

Comments ( my opinion ) :

 

Change Fielding % to an offensive stat.

Max Acquistions per week is a 6, this should be lowered to 4 ( to discourage streaming ).

Min. Innings Pitched is at 7, this should be lowered to 6.

Is there room for more? Fantasy baseball is my thing I have been commish for a league with my friends 5 years running now I am very active. Although I never win - 4 #1 seeds and 4 second place finishes. I am the Buffalo Bills of fantasy baseball.

On second thought, I probably won't have the time for this. Summer is always kind of busy, and I'll probably spend my baseball-time at Fenway this year.
