You're not that bad with baseball dude. We're in a league with some tough people. It's going to be hard trying to keep up with them. Your team is better then mines atm. You'll be fine.
Because there are 16 knowledgeable people and the draft will extend for several days, each of us is bound to make regrettable picks.

Not to mention one or two somewhat poor picks are not going to ruin your draft. Everyone got a handful of good players in the first five rounds. There are twenty rounds to go, and plenty of time to make up for any mistakes.

In a little while, I'm going to post what I think were the top 10 steals of the draft thus far and the top 10 reaches thus far, unless anyone has any objections

Looking forward to it. Should spark some good discussion.

Santana is good pick. Like some already said, coming off the knee surgery could be dicey. But he's worth the risk, IMO.

I'm not going anywhere. I'm almost always online (except for when I'm sleeping) but I rarely go anywhere, so I'm always a safe bet to send picks to. I think it's still Jbay's turn though.

As for your comment Flynnatic, don't worry about it. While I'll admit that I take these redrafts too seriously, it's a learning process. I've learned a lot from the redrafts about players that are on teams that I don't follow (like anyone in the NFC West for example) so it's a learning experience. Keep in mind that Suns didn't know the difference between a 3-4 and a 4-3 defence before (and during) the NFL redraft, and we all make mistakes.

Some of the "bad" picks only appear "bad" due to how early they were drafted (vs. who else was available) or how much they cost. But even then, the salary crunch is only harmful if it prevents you from getting good players later on. So by the time this redraft ends, I bet that every owner will have made a few bad draft choices, whether we overpay for someone, overdraft someone, or draft someone that we think is a sleeper pick and they end up horrible, we all make mistakes. I wouldn't worry about it, especially not 5-6 rounds into this thing.

Mark Teixeira - 1B ($20 Million)

Really wanted another SP this round, but simply couldn't pass him up. I'm surprised he was still available, truthfully.

Daric Barton, $410,000

Slide him in at DH. 9th in baseball in OBP, tied for the major league lead in walks per plate apperanace, has a walk per strikeout ratio above 1. Not bad at this stage of the draft. Should be a great fit into a lineup with a few big bats in it already. This might be a small reach but I really wanted to make sure I had this guy. He's also dirt cheap, which helps after the Holliday and Konerko picks.

Yeah, this is about the time of the draft when all the picks that I'm targetting and could reasonably hope to fall to me don't.
