How rude of me not to introduce myself.

 

Definitely enjoying the conversations I've been a part of.

 

Sox fan originally from Connecticut, now in Nashville, moving to Boston in a year.

Welcome. Your contributions so far have been great, so I'm sure you'll fit right in.

Who's Dutchy? I'm really not Dutchy, swear to it. I don't even know who Dutchy is?

 

I wish I had been around longer, I've just found the site recently.

Welcome. I spent 4 years in Nashville at school. Interesting place...definitely different than CT.

 

And guys, the IP is from TN. He isn't Dutchy. (Dutchy is a notorious former poster who can't seem to stay away, FYI)

For some reason there are a handful of posters on talksox who go into an overly paranoid state when new posters pop up with similar posting styles as formerly banned posters. One new guy was banned a while back that might not have necessarily been an old enemy of Talksox.

I went to Vanderbilt. Where in Nashville do you live?

Wow that's crazy. I live about 4 minutes from Vandy. I'm in downtown Nashville. My wife actually worked at Vandy in the Medical ICU when we met, and I know a lot of people who still work there.

 

How long ago did you go to Vandy? And are you still in Nashville or have you moved away?

I graduated in 09, I live in Philly now. One time, the Vandy medical center tried to charge me 12 grand for rabies shots...

 

You should take your wife on a date to City House. Best restaurant in Nashville.

Haha. I don't know whether to be more confused about the price of the rabies shot, or why you would need a rabies shot.

 

I thought Rabies was cured via the Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Run Race For the Cure?

 

Maybe I'm mistaken. By the way - SatCo is possibly the best fast food mexican on the planet. Delicious.

No but I really did have to get rabies shots. I came into contact with a bat at my house. Insurance paid for it but it definitely felt like extortion.

Haha yeah, there's like 10 times the traffic during gamethreads. Although in all fairness, most of the gamethread is reactionary posts.
