For me, this comes down to one thing: size.

I think that both teams have great backcourts. Rondo/Wade/Gay and Collison/Ginobili/Wade pretty much even each other out. Both of them will get their points in transition and get to the basket in the halfcourt offense pretty effectively, especially since both teams have a big that has a solid inside/outside presence to draw a bigger guy away from the basket.

In this case, I think we would see Smith playing defense on Griffin. Since Griffin is so explosive and athletic it makes more sense to take the slower Bogut off of him, but that in itself creates a huge mismatch. Nowitzki's inside/outside ability is way too much for him to handle IMO. I think we will always see a mismatch here in Ital's favor.

When the benches are in and the game slows down a bit, Ital is going to dominate the boards. Hickson is a natural PF who will be playing out of position, Hibbert and Aldrich both have quite a few inches on him, Odom is a bigger player than Millsap is (if only marginally), and I really don't think that Wes Johnson would have many issues eating up Casspi on the boards.

If we were just looking at starting fives, I would have to give WB the not, but I think that Ital built the more well rounded squad here. His huge front court will give him the advantage. Although WB has the better bench offensively, I don't think he has enough weapons to draw Ital's bigs away from the hoop, and Harris' and Turner's best offensive abilities are their slashing to the hoop.

Really? I don't think so. Using Smith on Dirk would be the right move. He is so athletic he can defend him on the perimeter. It wouldn't make much sense asking Bogut to move from the paint where he is a beast.

I agree, but I think it'd be the most logical move, since I think Griffin is way too explosive and athletic. IMO Griffin would just absolutely tear his ass up with his patented spin moves. Bogut is a very good paint defender, but I just don't think he's got it in him to stop Griffin.

I personally think it'd make more sense to match up the athleticism and leaping ability of Smith to try to negate some of what Griffin is going to do vertically.

Haha...hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

Don't you get it RSFFL? I thought you were smarter than this.

Leloser will be a ball hog, never pass, leave WB's team and go to a beaten team with like 50 losses who barely made the playoffs last year and WB's team won't be good

The starting lineups almost even out in this one. I think Josh Smith dominates an older Dirk Nowitzki, Bogut will play good defense on Griffin, though Griffin is dangerous against him due to his handles, but Bogut dominates him offensively and on the boards. LeBron is LeBron, and ital has a better starting frontcourt with Wade and Rondo, Rondo will use his height over a short Collison to dominate him on both ends of the floor.

What it really comes down to is bench. WB easily has the best bench in this whole thing. If his bench were starting in the NBA, it would probably be an above .500 team. Hickson and Millsap are going to be all-star players in 3 years, and Harris is an above average PG in the league. Evan Turner is going to be a star, and Casspi will be a reputable role player. Hibbert and Odom is a great backup frontcourt, and I think Hibbert uses his height on Hickson to win the boards, but Hickson is explosive and will still find ways to score on him. Millsap in 3 years will be a better player than Oden on both ends of the floor IMO. Wes Johnson vs Casspi is a wash, and Henry and Lawson might be good scorers, but Turner and Harris are significantly better.

One could argue that ital would win on size, but I think WB wins to a much better defensive team and a better all around bench.

In the interest of moving this along since the NFL redraft voting is going to start shortly, I think that WhiskeyBreath should win. From the beginning I thought that he had the best team, and I'm content enough with making it this far. I don't want to disrespect anyone that voted for me thus far, but it's likely that this would get forgotten about anyway, and I think that WhiskeyBreath would win in the end anyway, so I'm fine for giving him the title now and moving onto the NFL redraft.

I honestly think that if everyone voted, you would have a legitimate chance of winning due to your size over him at the big man positions, even though he may have a more skilled team

Then again, we have to do something if nobody is going to vote, so I commend you for being willing to give up the championship to WB

That would be fine with me but no way am I posting my girl online for some of the weirdos on here.

Does it really matter who see's her face? I mean with that way of thinking you may as well make her were in a veil in public so weirdos in real life can't see her ether.
