Did you see that shot of Molina? Jesus Christ he is fat! How the hell do his knees hold up for 9 innings? (That's what she said!)

It's hard to believe the Yankees won Game 1 in such dramatic comeback style the way they've played like dogshit these past three games. Just...wow.

Also, happy October 20th, everyone. You may remember a certain significance to this date from just a few years back. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

AJ speaking about his performance:

"I just wanted to come out and est. a strike zone and get our team knowing, 'AJ's alright.' It goes back to that one pitch, you know?"

Yup. We know, Ajay. ;)

Incidentally, lots of drawings of dinosaurs and family pictures in his locker room cube at Da Terlet. Seems like a nice enough family man. But he's a MFY, so...eat s*** and die*!

*I jest, I jest, of course.

Burnett was alright albeit the HR by Molina. Would not be surprised if this one went back to Texas for a Game 6. It matters which CC shows up. CC throwing 96 or CC throwing 93. Big Difference. 93 is where he gets beat.

Teixeira blabbering on and on in his post-game interview in the locker room about the World Series, totally feeling sorry for himself, his body telling him it'd had enough (coming off of all his recovering from his injury stuff recently) and it just gave out....wow he's sounding like a Grade A pussy, like a white Slappy McBlue Lips.

TO THE GLUE FACTORY!

Plus' date=' if they had acquired Lee, they have an exclusive 15 negotiating period that is now Texas' benefit.[/quote']

I plan to root for Texas between now and spring training. How great would it be if Texas just dumped an enormous pool of money into Cliff Lee and landed him? The Yankees need pitching badly but there aren't a ton of obvious options. I would love it.

Well that was a horrendous game to be at. I'd just like to know where they would be in this series if Joe hadn't swapped Pettitte and Hughes, and if he hadn't tried to squeeze extras outs out of AJ Burnett. But it's more than that, Texas has been the much better team this entire series.

Now CC stands between the Yankees and elimination.

Look at Hughes career at Arlington. He was dominate. IMO it was an easy decision to let him start game 2 in a ballpark he owns in.

Compared to Pettitte, Hughes was an easy choice. However it did not work out. I would make that choice 100% of the time. It prolly works 9 out of 10 times.
