Oh well' date=' At least the Yankees will be near unbeatable in the playoffs next year with a 1-2 punch of Lee and Sabathia.[/quote']

ITS ALL ABOUT THIS YEAR

Well Burnett is who should start tomorrow. They need to win the next two games, and their best chance to do that is to start Burnett vs. Hunter and CC vs. Wilson.

Do you think the guy with the Texas flag will make it to the subway alive?

I can live with 2 rings in 3 years

We have something in common then. Been there done that and look forward to doing it again starting next year. Thanks for the reminder!

Watching the Yankees get their asses whipped is fun no matter how you slice it. Nothing a Yankee fan can say will ever annoy me ever again. 2004 changed that forever. How sweet it is!

Not sure about that. Large women wearing Jeter/Cano jerseys and oversized gold chains walking down 161st Street after having downed a few 40 ounces during and after the game will F you up. Do not underestimate the boogie down bronx!

Well the Yankees just have to tip their caps and call Cliff Lee their daddy.

Ah, Pedro, thanks for more 2004 memories! I'll take that year all week and twice on Sundays, the good, the bad and the ugly. Pure poetry.

Feliz reminds me of a young Pedro plus about 40lbs. He's smooth, but he really throws a little too much with his arm, especially when he reaches back a little. It's what shortened Pedro's career, although I don't know if it has the same type of impact on a reliever.

Haha, I wasn't trying to take any shots at the Red Sox (which would have backfired anyway). Just felt it was appropriate.

This man has never lost in the postseason. Granted it's only 7 games, but Jesus his numbers are impressive.

Sorry, I feel like I'm hogging this game thread now. I'll zip it.

G'night folks. And thank you, Cliff Lee!

And as I expected' date=' AJ takes the ball tomorrow.[/quote']

Games 4, 5, and 6 are all must wins. While we did hit Lee hard the second time around last post-season, we cannot rely on that again. As good as he was last yr, he looked better last night. Burnett needs to get his s*** together for one f***ing night.

Oh, and those who like to stalk me, I wont be on tonight. Going to watch the game out with some friend. Enjoy guys.

Burnett in game 4 could be Girardi's second big mistake in this series. If CC goes tonight, you also have him for game 7. Burnett could go in game 5 and Pettitte on 3 days rest and Hughes on full rest would be available for game 6.
