wahhh Dirk was my next pick

I was hoping people would disregard him due to his age

I guess I'd rather have Iggy though

I picked James Harden. Probably a little bit of a reach, but he can hit the outside shot, which is what I need next to Tyreke and Al. Tyreke's also the primary ballhandler for my team (though not technically a point guard), so Harden plays beside him in the backcourt. He's a nice player, but his numbers in OKC might not be too great as long as he's competing with Durant and co. for shots and with Sefalosha for playing time.

Interesting pick, I think it was a reach though, the fact that he has a time share is because he is not good enough on the defensive end of the floor, and he is a bit of a one dimensional player. I think you might have been able to get him in the 6th or 7th round personally

I'm just glad that Flynnatic didn't pick who I was gunning for. (I'm not ripping on his picks' date=' but I thought he was going to pick who I'm planning on taking)[/quote']

now all i need is a SF.

I thought about Noah' date=' but he had a few strikes against him. (Being that he was from UF, ugly as hell, and a bit of a pansy.)[/quote']

Noah will be pretty damn good soon, your loss :D

Phew, that makes me feel better. I was thinking about taking him before Dirk, and I knew that neither would make it to my 5th pick. I guess I took them in the right order if I was somehow able to get them both. Granted, my 5th pick is going to be tough because it'll determine where I put Dirk and Blake.

A common misconception some people have is that your first 5 picks have to be 5 starters. I often pick my 6 or 7 before picking my final starting guy.

True, it does depend on value (if Dirk was still available at round 5 and I had a PF) it would be wiser to take Dirk than to take the person who would have been my 5th starter. It depends on value per pick. I just wanted flexibility so I can determine my lineup after I have the players.

Picked Batum because a) he's just 21 and has plenty of room for improvement, B) he's a 40% three point shooter, which I need, c) he's a good defender, which I also need. For clarification my three wing players are Tyreke, Harden, and Batum, with Tyreke playing the D-Wade role.

I'm honestly not a big fan of Jennings game at this point in his career due to his low FG%, but I think in 3 years he has the potential to be a star. Plus, he's really cheap.

So far, I realy like my team. I don;t have the stars, but I have a good squad, who would probably play well together as a team. The scorer, the do it all PG, the defensive center, etc.

Depending on who his next pick is, I think Kilo has the best team. If he makes the right pick next, his top 5 would be unreal.

Thanks dude. I had the feeling Wallace was taken and didn't see the chart until it was too late. There's so many directions I can go in with the next pick but I'm actually leaning towards my 6th man instead of the SG. Lots of talent still available.

I really like the Collison pick, I was debating between him and Jennings..

Anyway, what do you guys think of Nash pick? I know hes pretty old (36), but he has shown no signs of slowing down and I think in 3 years he could still be a productive player.

Thanks. After I made my last 2 picks I had Collison and Jennings as targets. Glad I got one.

I really like the Nash pick, especially because you coupled him with a young PG. Best passer and shooter in the league.

Nash was a solid pick, especially with the young developing PG in Jennings

I took another center, you can never have enough good big men, and Gasol is going to be a stud in 3 years (and better than his brother). His salary is under 4 million, which is huge for me since Yao makes almost 18 million this year
