I'm not sure. I'm not in a hurry since most of us are doing the NBA voting as we speak. I'd prefer to get this started once the NBA voting is finished. That would give Youker time to makeup picks, and it would give people time to update the chart and their respective clubhouses, which would give the people here ample time to make their power rankings. I think that the power rankings here would be much a harder/longer process than the NBA one.

I think before we do power rankings we should have a thread where every team can post a paragraph on why they think their team is good, so that everyone can make a point to other teams before we vote on power rankings. A bad power ranking because somebody didn't realize your team was as good as it really is could screw you in the first round of the playoffs

I wouldn't go that far Flynnatic, you had a good team, but since you were 8th, you went against the 9th ranked team which meant that both your team and Coco's team were closely ranked, which made it a closer matchup, which came down to a vote here or there, rather than the #5 vs #12 matchup which was ytrb vs. youker. Your team was probably a bit underrated, but I would hardly say that you got screwed, ESPECIALLY when there are bigger examples of people getting absolutely shafted in these things.

Not to mention, I find it hilarious that after voting for your team to beat Coco in the first round, you then voted for Coco's team in the 2nd round to beat WhiskeyBreath's team, who was selected as the #1 ranked team. So you wouldn't vote for Coco against your team, but you think his team is good enough to beat the best team in the league? And after thinking that Coco's 9th ranked team is good enough to beat the #1 seed, you imply that you got screwed when you lost to his team? Are you familiar with the robot saying, "DOES NOT COMPUTE"

i meant, the "why i think my team is better" part. not the screwed over part. By the time i was able to get on, it was already 4-0 Coco.

Here's how the rules will work. Starting at 8:00 PM, Coco will have the ability to add any free agent he chooses. To do so, he has to drop a player. That dropped player then becomes available to the rest of the waiver wire, and Coco drops to the bottom. The next person in line can add any free agent OR the dropped player from the player (s) before him, and so on and so forth.

 

IF YOU ELECT TO PASS, please notify the thread ASAP and the next in line is up. HOWEVER, if the player behind the player who passes drops a player, then the first in line is the one who passed their turn.

 

As an example. Coco drops Joe Flacco and adds Brian St. Pierre. Youker passes. Ital drops Felix Jones and adds Brandon Jackson. Youker can claim Joe Flacco as he would be at the top of the waiver wire, not Flynnatic.

 

Hope that makes sense. At 8:00 PM on Friday, this waiver portion is over and you are required to have a full team, at which point we will do power rankings.
