Well maybe that way they can get rid of him somehow and eat the contract!!!!!!The yankees do it all the time with bad contracts.The guy simply stinks!

The bottom line is that he shouldnt even pitch!!!I rather see a minor leaguer get a chance then to watch this overprice sorry excuse of a pitcher!

The Biggest Question is when MLB becomes a Normal Sport and puts in a salary cap ,thats what i have been waiting for the last 15 years!

and it shouldnt surprise anyone that your team has the #2 and #3 payrolls of all time among world series champs? A salary cap affects you too there skippy. And dont believe for a second that the MLB would be better off without it's two most marketable teams being successful. In the end, you have no gripe at all with the Yankees. If you were a Pirates fan, then maybe you'd have a gripe. But a sox fan complaining about how the Yankees reinvest their money into their franchise is like 2 fat, rich guys complaining about the check after dinner.

thats why mlb is losing interest in fans every year due to high payrolls !
