Of course clutch hitting exists. Every time someone does something good in a crucial spot, it's clutch. What is in question is whether or not clutch "hitters" exist, ie people that are consistently able to come through when needed over long periods in time.

 

Yeah, I get it, you were joking, but incorrectly paraphrasing the argument to throw a little quip in there is intellectually dishonest.
