Why is TS no longer working in the DR anyway?

The truth of the matter is that mods are supposed to be unbiased, like SOTK, MSU, and Coco, and if you judge people on the fact that for some reason, you don't like them on a personal level, you're not being a good mod.

 

The funny thing is that some posters get away with harrassing new posters and accusing them of being an old poster, being douchebags, or issuing personal attacks on a constant basis, but people that used to post a lot like me or a700 were moving targets for some people.

 

Take this RWTP character for instance, i attacked his post, he attacked me personally, so i retaliated. (i'm talking about the old thread by the way). But the mods don't like me (insert sad face here) so i'm the bad guy.

 

Look at Jacko jumping all the SoxFanforLife due, he's a good new poster, he makes sense, he likes the forum, but he's getting personally attacked, even being called pink hat, now, it's Jacko, so he can get away with it, if i do it, i'm getting an angry PM from yeszir jumping all over my balls.

 

Now the reason the site isn't as lively as it used to be has a lot to do with the double standards exhibited by part of the mod team. If you're going to implement rules, implement them for everyone, which is why i'd always reply ******** with ********. I'm not saying i didn't start a lot of the shitstorms, but i sure as hell didn't start all of them.

 

Same for Emmz, she got harrassed by "some" on the site to the post where she barely posts anymore, but some mods didn't "like"her because she had similar thoughts as me on a lot of things. Where were the angry PM's defending her from harrasment?

 

Ted too, i used to give the guy a lot of s***, but we talked off-site and he knew everything was in good fun, but where the angry PM's defending him?

 

In the end, unless the double standard stops, and you decide to measure everyone with the same stick, the activity will continue to decrease to the point where, like Jacko himself said after Crespo was banned "Next thing you know, the site is a graveyard".

 

You could have just banned me and diony instead of sabotaging the IP range, and creating the "Gift of the heavens"" as you call it, but it would have been an unjustified banning, i presume.

 

Well you can ban me now if you want, seeing as i'm not "liked" because i say what i think and respond when people attack me (not saying i don't start s*** though), but of course, it's seen as though i'm always the one on the attack.

 

Oh, and something could certainly be learned from SOTK's and MSU's way of moderating. Just saying.

 

Please continue to allow the "liked"posters to do whatever they while most guys who actually bring something to the site leave or get banned.

In all fairness, you get away with crap that he doesn't though. I'm not supporting Dipre's actions, and I'm not saying that he shouldn't be punished accordingly, but it's a double, or even triple standard, when people like you don't get punished and disciplined, and Dipre does. To be honest, I feel that if it weren't for a quota of Yankee fans, that you'd have been banned years ago.

 

Look, pretty much everyone on this site is confrontational (except for MSU, but he's the nicest person I've ever met). Arguments are going to happen, as people aren't going to agree. This game thread has turned into a pointless argument. From the time that I've been here Dipre has been pretty cool. I've only been here a month but I'm just saying from what I've seen. Only guy I've really encountered an argument was with Jacko. Always seems to taunt us when we do bad and loves to argue about why the yankees are better.
