Eh, RWTP has a point. This is not an $8M player. Wasn't a terrible idea when it was tried, but Cameron just has not lived up to his end of the bargain. Worse, you can't even use injuries as an excuse, anyone over 36 or so is at a heightened risk of injury and you have to take that into consideration before you sign them -- if you don't you pretty much deserve what you get..

 

Maybe you give him another shot next year, but I don't think it'd hurt the team that much to move him along.

Sure, he's not worth 7+ million a year. But I think he's definitely worth 4-5 million a year to some team out there, so if they pick up some(but leave most) of his contract, they can put that money towards Werth or Crawford.
