wow, this is unreal. i thought we were in trouble when we dropped the first game of the series and we were facing the best pitcher in baseball this year in the second game. hopefully lackey doesn't give the lead right back

Can you imagine how McDonald's family and friends feel right now?

And what about the double and run scored by lackey?:D

Not bad for a team that can't hit, cobbled together by an FO that only cares about money, and that wasn't supposed to be competitive until 2012.

FML' date=' I guess I've learned never to start SP against the Sox offense. F***.[/quote']

That's what you get for picking fantasy over reality. Never go against your team, never.

I have a tendency to draft Yankee players. I figure, if they suck, its a great thing. But if they do well, atleast I'm getting fantasy points.

When I played fantasy I refused to draft Yankee players. I'd actually go out of my way to draft as many sox as I could, especially in the bottom of the draft. I just couldn't bring myself to root for anyone wearing pinstripes.

Haha, I know, but I figured that Ubaldo Jimenez and Zack Greinke were reasonable exceptions. It hurts double because my opponent (Dipre) has a bunch of the Sox players in his lineup.

Rays pitchers regressing and them not keeping up a 120 win pace. Who'd have thought???? Oh wait....

This game is like eating a coconut. You (the Red Sox) struggled for hours with a hacksaw (bats) trying to crack the outer shell (Jimenez) then, your comparatively weak little brother (McDonald) comes along and smashes it with a hammer to prove that he's as cool as you, and you get to eat the tasty insides (the Rox pen) and drink the sweet sweet milk (victory)

Don't feel too bad, Ital. Ubaldo was feeling ill before the game. I think that had something to do with his performance. Even so, it was bound to happen sooner or later.

There's something to be said for a West-East Hartford Education.

Maybe it had something to do with facing the toughest offense in the world. Or, maybe Daniel Nava is the second coming of Manny Ramirez.
