Some good news already. Yankees lost and Rays are losing 4-1.

 

If win like we should tonight, we are only 1.5 back of Yankees and if Rays lose and we win, we are only 3.5 back of Rays.

Beltre leads the league in putting outfielders on the DL.

 

Did Hermida even go to the DL. I haven't seen anything saying it. All i have seen is that Atchison was optioned and Reddick was recalled

You know, unintentionally, Bill James' relief ace theory is being realized by the Sox right now. Dan Bard is the best pitcher in the BP, and he's coming in to put out fires.
