Quick inning for Ramram? There's some sort of temporal vortex flux affecting quantum probability outcomes at the Trop. Or eddies in the space-time continuum. Or something.

Why????? He should be DFA'd!;)

Top performer of the night-- Adrian Beltre.

He replaced his banjo with a hammer.

NO DOUBT. I was never a hater anyway. Knew he would break out or not. Glad he broke out.

PAPI beats the shift. LOVE IT!!!!!

They finally found a guy (Beltre) who can hit Garza. That's worth half of Beltre's salary.

Papi is now hitting 3rd, and continues to amaze. Must be the water.

Good to see McDonald is still around--with that broken down outfield. Somebody in the FO saw the light.

They're humiliating the Rays. The score of the last three game is 19-3 so far. I wonder who is flying up the power rankings this week?

So......the Sox can't hit good pitching huh?

To be fair, they're hitting Cormier right now, so that's not exactly "good pitching". But we scored 11 (and counting) without 3 major lineup pieces against Garza et al. in the Trop. Yeah, things are going well.

If you had told me the score of this game would be 11-2, I'd have said, "Dang, I thought we'd lose but couldn't we at least keep it competitive?" :)

6 runs off Garza.

7 runs off Halladay.

Burned Burnett twice.

Burned Sabathia once.

In all fairness, the Sox have been hitting good pitching all year long, which is why they're one of the top offenses in all of baseball.

And after tonight (hopefully), still 5.5 games out. Imagine what it would be if we weren't hitting well. Pretty tough stretch the last 2 weeks

Oh, I'm not saying that we can't hit good pitching. Like you said, we've done it consistently this year. It was just ironic that you mentioned it just when we were beating up on Cormier. That's all.

Well it wasn't really aimed at Cormier and his version of the suckball, but at the fact that they chased Garza early and hammered the s*** out of him.

Just saw this come accross the Twitter-verse

@Buster_ESPN B.J. Upton must be absolutely confusing to the Rays. They see the talent, and have seen his OBP drop from .383 to .313 to .285 last 3 years.

I know. That's why I said it was ironic.

Anyway, we're in full agreement -- the Red Sox can hit anyone. Except soft-tossing lefties. But that's another matter. :)
