Who else talks about fantasy? I've noticed Stallion on multiple occasions' date=' but only him.[/quote']

I only mentioned it this time because Dipre also has Garza, so he shares my pain. I try to keep it to the fantasy threads, but there is much less traffic there.

A strike or two is probably in order' date=' Quasimodo.[/quote']

That's what I was trying to say, but you did it with much more panache.

You guys worry way too much about your FANTASY teams. Just sayin' :dunno:

I disagree. A key to a successful fantasy team is to have no allegiances to any particular team. While I'm a diehard Sox fan, I must not be afraid to start a good starter against the Sox offense, or players against the Sox pitching. And this is my first year playing so I'm trying to do the best I can. And I'd rather win in fantasy than to have my team win in real life since the fantasy success is much more contingent on my own doing.

Keep in mind, I'm a Jaguars fan so I'm used to selling out my own team for fantasy purposes.

I understand. You probably have a lot of money to win if your FANTASY team does well, but maybe you could stick to the fantasy thread, ya know? Not trying to be a bitch and all. :)

I understand, you have plenty of other opportunities for that. Point taken.

I know I ask this question almost every time I'm in a game thread, but I don't get to actually see the games. I appreciate you guys being my eyes. So anyway, is the ump behind the plate doing as crappy as Gamecast makes it seem? Looks like he's just flipping a coin when he hears the ball hit the catcher's mitt. Heads, ball -- tails, strike.

Hold on guys. That was wayyyy to amicable for this board

There will be plenty of other times for VA and I to fight. Besides, there are people higher up on my hit list than VA. I'll save our battle for something on a sexist related topic. :D

Actually that is what he is doing. It's very bizarre. Shame you can't see it it :D

Ortiz with another bomb. Let's get rid of him and free up some payroll so we can sign A backup catcher. Lol! Screw it. Cut him now and bring up Danny whatever his name is. He's earned it.

Dang! Can you actually see him pulling the coin out and flipping it, or is he doing it discreetly?

Exactly. He knows I'm not a femi-nazi. We have had our moments but are at a good place now. As gay as that sounds!

I tend to save my total bitch-wrath for NYY fans and trolls. f*** them.

Actually, I think it is just a keychain magic 8 ball that he looks at after each pitch. Much more discrete

So what does he do when the 8 ball says "Answer cloudy -- try later"?

After sucking for a little while, the sox offense is out of their mind. I wonder how the Rays will react to this. This is the first time this season that the Rays are facing some adversity. Young teams can crumble in this situation

All in all Lackey got the job done tonight. I wish he could go further. But at least he kept the Sox in position to win.

Yeah, hopefully the Rays and the NYY are cooling off for a while.....

Asks the catcher I think

That's awesome. As was the iphone app answer.

Whoah -- fast clean inning for Lackey. 6 IP, 11 baserunners, but he's in line for the win. Lucky schmoe.
