I can't possibly think of anything good that has come out of this series. Not one thing.
Neither can I unless one of the Yankees pilots the charter flight home.

Remember in Fever Pitch when the Sox were down 8-0 to the NYY in the 9th and came back and won?

Yeah, I know, only in Hollywood.

Nice K Van Every! f*** you Tex.

The Yankees continue to f*** me over. First' date=' they f*** over my actual team. Now they are f***** over my fantasy teams. This is bulls***. F*** all of these a**holes. I'm sick and tired of this f***** s***.[/quote']

This, except for the fantasy baseball part. Don't got time for it. Two HRs for horseface? Ugh. If only I had a DVD set of the 2004 ALCS to comfort me right now.

I'm still laughing. This is f***** hilarious. I shouldn't be laughing, but in a f***** up game like this, that post is a bit of dark humour in my otherwise ruined day.

Is now a good time to bring up those times Cleveland beat the Yankees 22-0 and 22-4? More games I should have on DVD.

Good times..good times

I'll be signing off until after tomorrow's game. Send me whatever mojo you all have to bring to the park tomorrow. I may throw up if I see another game like the last two.

Thank God this nightmare of a game is OVAH!!

Hate to lose but especially to the f***ing Yankees.

Tough schedule ahead. Something has gotta change, or not.

Rosenthal needs a stool or something to stand on to interview Tex.

I was watching the 22-4 on Fox. 14 run second inning, I believe. They brought in the scrub....what was his name? Claggett. Rhymes with you-know-what. Man, was I a happy guy during that inning. Think I still have access to it on mlb.tv.

Rosenthal draws a parallel to Gehrig and he gets the stat wrong. What a useless piece of s***! What value does he add to the Fox broadcasts? Seriously, what do the suits at the network think that he brings to the table? His uncle has to be an executive at Fox. There is no other explanation. He can't speak eloquently, can't conduct an interview, has no insightful observations, and he's short and ugly to boot.

Help me out here. Is it generally better to be a columnist in a national publication, or a sideline reporter on a TV station? Because I'm thinking it's the former. I thought Rosenthal wrote some reasonable stuff with the Sporting News. Not sure how that gig ended for him, but he's been a douchebag for Fox. Which of course fits right in with their corporate culture.

A week from next Wednesday I'll be staying at Reddington Beach, not far from where the Rays play. I'm going to spread banana peels all around their ugly ballpark.

He was obviously busy listening in his earpiece to know what to ask Tex. Still f***ed it up.

His low point was his article where he inferred racism by the Sox -- a failed attempt at being a provocative commentator on social issues. He's just a f***ing idiot. I hope he is on the Yankee Charter flight.

Yeah, Tex was looking at him waiting for him to ask the next question as he was struggling to hear what was being said in his ear. If I was giving that stupid monkey info in his ear, I'd feed him some ridiculous and obviously incorrect stat just to see if he would repeat it. Can't you hear him saying: "Mark, how do you feel about being the first horse-faced douche bag in Yankee history to hit 3 HRs in a game?"

A piece of s*** no doubt, but I can't believe they are already talking about replacing it.

Didn't know that, and my reading of him was sporadic. Must have missed that article.

Christ, just looked at the box score again. I'm sure their fans are already talking retired number.

I don't care if I would get ejected and a 5 game ban, I'd put one in his ear in the 9th.

Should players who hit HRs off outfielders be credited with a full HR? For that matter, HRs that wrap arourd the Pesky Pole shouldn't fully count either. By my calculation, Tex hit 2.3 HRs today.

We already have WAAAAAAAY too many stats in baseball without figuring out and adjusting %s prorated for quality of opposing player.

"His name is T-Boo Ted Marshall. He suffers from....hemerrhoids."

I agree. Also, the players who hit HR's off of position players (and their fans) shouldn't be allowed to celebrate when said player hits a HR off a position player in a 14-3 game. Teixeira really is a d-bag. I bet he'd hit a HR off of a dying kid whose last wish was to pitch to him.

That or clock the kid in the face with a comebacker.
