BTW, I don't want to hear anymore whining from a Red Sox player about the bad Fenway infield. Yeah, Pedroia, as much as I love his game... he blamed the Fenway infield after a loss in last year's playoffs. Beltre has whined about it to the Boston Globe recently.

It may not be a good infield, but the opposing team is playing a better game than Beltre or Scuturo is bringing on defense these days.

Rays do well against Boston for 2+ seasons now. Even in Fenway. While this is not surprising, since they are no longer dogs, the Sox don't do well in Tampa. While the Rays win some series in Fenway now. On the other hand, the Yankees do pretty well against Tampa. Even in NYY's non-playoff year--2008-- the Yanks still could win some games @Tampa. Which the Red Sox just have a tough time doing. Tonight though at Fenway was just fustrating... oh well.

When you look at how scared s*** Buchholz sometimes looks, it's not shocking he has trouble with adversity sometimes. Tonight, he could have at least done somewhat better of a job limiting the damage after the error.

So is it crap when Yankee offense struggles to score a run in a game, or is it, you know, just baseball, where funny things happen in small samples? Think on it a bit and let me know.
