In the words of the Sox announcer: "slipshod defense." Run prevention was a farce to divert our attention that they let the team's biggest run producer walk away.

Don't stop there.

 

Cameron has looked very average.

 

Beltre makes some spectacular snags, but makes some really crappy throws.

 

9 games is a SSS. But things don't look so spiffy out there.

 

Good thing we have such a "balanced line-up".:rolleyes:

I was going to say that. Thankfully he's only costing $15. mil over two years.

 

It's early. Maybe he'll contribute eventually.

 

But if he doesn't, will management hold Theo accountable?

Give some credit to Liriano. He's made just about everyone look stupid today.

 

Lowell has made good contact.

 

It's easy to forget how freakin awesome Liriano was before he blew out his arm.

Schoenweiss is a piece of garbage. He was discarded by the Mets. That speaks volumes about the quality of our bullpen. Let's not forget that the back up plan is 80 year old Embree who has been discarded by more teams than a 50 year old groupie.

I'm still very disappointed that Saito was allowed to walk. Elbow problems or not.

 

Speaking of garbage, I don't like the idea of committing roughly $30. mil. to three older players when it's a "bridge year".
