I liked what I saw from Leake in his first start. His stuff isn't explosive, but he seems to have a good feel for pitching. Arroyo should be a good mentor. Leake can swing the bat a little, too. Baker definitely left him in there an inning too long.

Roy Halladay turned in his third straight dominant performance in Friday's win over the Marlins, going eight innings and giving up just two runs.

Halladay struck out four and walked none. He gave up a solo shot to Dan Uggla and then allowed a meaningless two out rally in the eighth inning with two outs and no one on. Hallday has now thrown 24 innings on the season and has a 1.12 ERA and 0.96 WHIP. With this Phillies offense looking historic, Halladay is a legit candidate for 22+ wins.
