He was fine until the 6th when Hairston launched a 3 run shot. That turned it from a great outing to a mediocre one that was no longer a quality start.

So, I've got 2 very good catchers now, and I really only need 1 of them. If you want Posey to plug in at a position where most of you get almost no production, I'm open to offers.

Has Gom checked out? He hasn't updated his roster at all this week. Didn't use Johan or Latos or Hunter. And Latos and Hunter had very favorable matchups. Not that I'm complaining. I should easily beat him in Ks, quality starts, ERA, and WHIP now. I simply won't use another starter this week.

Another questionable trade between SFOC and his son, who is tanking in the standings. Fausto Carmona for Alex Rios? Rios is the 13th best player in Fantasy Baseball this year. Carmona is 30% owned. Nuff said. Not even close to equal value.

Here's what I don't like about the frozen account thing. I was going to pick up Brett Cecil later this week for a stream start against the Guardians. Now, I can't because you gave him to an irrelevant team. He could be a valuable starter down the stretch. Give Long Ball Larrys someone like Freddy Garcia or Jeremy Guthrie or Doug Fister or Joe Saunders or Vin Mazzaro. That would be more fair to the rest of the league, IMO.

I'm not saying it's ideal to have three catchers (two with 1B eligibility and two with an OPS above .900, btw), but if you think I'll drop one of them and let you have one for free, you have another thing coming.

Well, I'm almost relieved it's over for me. Been an uphill battle since Morneau went out. Never had a chance with Scherzer. Burnett sucked horribly. Wieters sucked horribly. Jenks sucked horribly. Yunel sucked horribly. Drew didn't start raking until after I let him go. Shouldn't have dropped C.J. Wilson, but I thought he would run out of gas in the 2nd half since he used to be a reliever. Braun, Bourn, Street, and Greinke all had down years. Cruz couldn't stay on the field.

 

All things considered, I did pretty well. I have a much better idea of who to target now. Next year should be more fruitful.

It must be a conspiracy. The bastards wait until you release them to get good. Then the others, purposely suck if you hold on to them. Damn, a real lose-lose situation. My three catchers had nothing to do with me losing. Having someone else on the roster instead of Napoli or Soto wouldn't have made a difference. Although if you had made a trade for Soto, you would have another RBI right now, giving you a better shot at winning.
