One of the only things I hate more than the Lakers, is Lakers fans. If nothing else, the Celtics need to win the game to prevent an offseason of gloating Lakers fans.

This may potentially be the worst sports year ever for me. The Yankees winning the World Series, Duke winning the men's ncaa tournament and the Lakers winning the NBA title. The team I hate the most in each sport ends up winning the title.

OK well, in that case I certainly can deal with taking a better team to 7 in the NBA finals and having a chance to finish them off.

 

If the Lakers ARE the better team, there's a lot less shame IMHO. Doesn't make this pleasant, but it does make it something you can shrug off after you're done with the grief process.
