I don't mind Pettite either, but saying "as long as he wins" is basically condoning his use of steroids. I'm glad he buried Clemens as well. Clemens threw a bunch of people under the bus in an attempt to save his ass. He not only proved he was a cheater, but a cowardly human being as well.

I dont condone it. I just dont care. I know how prevalent it is in the game first hand. No amount of guilt can undo the drive to be better. To be honest with you, if I was a little bit better and didnt have another future lined up, I definitely would have used. My teammates used, a lot. And the coaches knew but didnt care.

You basically said I don't condone, but I condone. Here's a quick question, did you ever get on David Ortiz for his use of performance enhancing drugs?

Pettitte was a cowardly prick too in dropping a dime on his best friend. He gave them a signed affidavit so he didn't have to stare down Clemens at the Congressional hearing. He also had his wife give an affidavit.

 

I'm switching to football as this Yankee game is a pointless endeavor. We all know what the end will be. I'll leave the Yankee fans watch it like a favorite porn film.
