Pavano has pitched very well against the yankees this season' date=' and he has done very well in big games during his career. Perhaps you have put 2003 out of your memory. Pavano will probably not be the Twinkies problem today. There offense is very weak.[/quote']

I'm aware of what Pavano has and hasn't done, particularly during his time in New York (well most of that time was spent in Tampa rehabbing, not New York). I still wouldn't want all my eggs n his basket if I were the Twins.

Their offense is weak now, because Morneau changes that offense so much. He's one of the greatest offensive powers in the league, as is Mauer, but with both of them, as well as Cuddyer and Kubel, the Twins offense is usually an unstoppable force. I love the Twinks, but their offense isn't going to be good enough, and god knows the rotation is god awful outside of Blackburn and Baker (Who aren't exactly aces).

I wanted the Twins to win only because my homerism would not allow me to go against them.

Hate to burst your bubble' date=' but it was over before it started. And when Carl Pavano stands between you and elimination... better pack your bags.[/quote']

No we're a different squad at home, if Pavano pitches half decent, I am fully expecting a win.

What is "half decent"?

Remember the time that pavano was with the Guardians (1st time vs. the yankees) when he pitches a no hitter through the 7th? That would be half decent.

Carl Pavano pitched a no hitter through the 7th inning against the Yankees this year? Really? I've watched most of the games this year, but that must have been the one I missed. Thanks for letting me know.

Nice start Pavano

Nice to know I'm not the only one representin' the MN here : )

Let's go Twinks, even though the Sox are still my team, still love the Twinkies.

Nice, I like the RedSox as my second team too.

Good stuff. Pavano's pitching well so far, I couldn't be happier. Now if we can get some offense going, I know it's been a trouble to do that since Morneau got hurt.

God, we miss Morneau a ton. We would have won last night with Morneau in the lineup, as well as with Carlos Gomez not tripping over the base, and Joe Nathan not fearing the Yanks, and the Umps not sucking Joe Girardi's dick.

Thats the player we thought we signed when we handed him 40mil over 4 yrs. BTW' date=' we need to resign Pettitte. This guy is just flat out money all the time[/quote']It's his extreme workouts and the needles that he sticks in his ass that keep him great.

I dont care what he did' date=' so long as he wins[/quote']

Don't make me dig up a post of yours where you criticize Ortiz...

Go for it. I have always maintained that I dont care. I was just burning those who said David was clean and ARod/Clemens/Pettitte were frauds and we should give up our world series championships
