If the Twins win, what is their playoff rotation?

1-?

2-Blackburn

3-Baker

4-?

5-Blackburn

Help!

Blackburn might start Game 1 on three days rest. If that happens it would be Blackburn-Pavano-Baker-Blackburn-Pavano. If not, Brian Duensing or Jeff Manship would probably start Game 1. In that the only sure things would be Duensing/Manship in Game 1 and Blackburn in Games 2 and 5. Games 3 and 4 would be thrown by some combination of Pavano, Baker, and Duensing/Manship.

EDIT: I apologize if that's confusing.

Sooo What is the name of the song bon jovi is singing during the postseason this year?

I don't know about that.

What I do know is I'm glad there aren't any dumbass Dane Cook "THERE'S ONLY ONE OC-TO-BER!" commercials.

Possibly. Pavano (lol) has better numbers though. Is Slowey hurt?

Pavano rules!! A little late coco?

Kevin Slowey-S- Twins Aug. 12 - 2:22 pm et

Twins transferred RHP Kevin Slowey from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list.

Slowey, who underwent wrist surgery last week, is expected to be ready for the start of spring training next season.

I doubt Liriano gets a start. Remember, he was scheduled to pitch Friday and was skipped in favor of Manship. If they weren't willing to let him pitch on Friday, I doubt they'd be willing to let him start Game 1 of the postseason. And no Slowey.

I think the song is called "Living on a prayer that my career continues"

Strangely enough, on the 45th floor of my office building, there's a random HUGE close up photo of Jon bon Jovi's face, pores and all. Kinda weird.

I'm assuming this is a response to me (if it isn't, I apologize). I really love when people make a point, exchange a couple responses, and then tell the person to calm down when both people have engaged themselves in the discussion. Where do you see me getting worked up? Was it all the CAPS in my post? Was it all the exclamations marks? Maybe it was all the profanity?

I know what thread and project you were referring to. However, it has nothing to do with the sarcastic implication that you made. No one here (I'm assuming) expects that they can handle a Major League clubhouse. We also, at times, criticize managers without full knowledge of the circumstances. However, there are times when the average fan can see the situation in a different way than the manager, and it completely justified to question the move.

My original post was not directed towards you. It was a joke but you were offended by it.

Too bad. I meant no harm. My comment had everything to do with the Natstown Project if taken in context. You chose to take it personally and respond with a defensive post calling me out for no reason. I have no problem with anyone on this board second guessing a player, manager, or GM.

I guess I have a new goal.

I aspire to be an average fan.

Not confusing, thank you. I'd probably rather start Blackburn on 3 days rest than Duensing or Manship. If I was a Twins fan with one of them starting Game 1 in New York, I would literally be sick.

Thank you, that sucks for the Twins.

Good point. Just three years ago he was the next Santana.

I know your original post wasn't directed at me. Your second post, from my perspective, was.

Now, I was not offended by it. Too many people try to decipher other people's emotions online. It's pointless, because very often you're wrong. In response to your initial post I was simply asking you if you agreed with Gardenhire's decision.

I don't understand why you think I was offended and why you think I took it personally. For what it's worth, you are wrong on both counts. I also don't think I called you out. I simply asked you a question.

Please, NO Bon Jovi. Not a fan.

At any rate....we all know that ANYTHING can happen in the post season, regardless of regular season accomplishments.

I don't agree with the bunt there. If they get Cabrera out, Mauer won't get a chance to hit. Potentially taking the bat out of your best players hands is rarely a good idea.

Agree 100%

Was just about to say this

I don't agree with it because other than Mauer, IIRC Span has the best OBP on the team. You could have had runners first and second, 0 out, if you let Span prosecute the at bat.
