Just a little tense. I'm pissed that I'm not at the game. I had tickets to this game since December' date=' but I had to give them up.[/quote']

Really Sorry but what is your excuse for being "tense and pissed" earlier in this 2009 season?

f***ing Francona. Why didn't he have Youkilis swinging at that pitch?

he should have PHd Gonzo in his place, ride the hot streak you know? but Tito had to have his head shoved up his ass.

Lol nice try' date=' but fail.[/quote']

Yeah, it felt like a fail, actually.

I was fortunate enough to walk in the door from work with Ellsbury on 1B with one out in the 9th, so I didn't have to stomach the almost-comeback.

This team is really backing into the playoffs. It feels to me like this may be the year they lose to the Angels.

I'm sure it was something else.:D. Over the course of a season, I get tense and pissed a few times.

I think they're pretty evenly matched. There is just nothing that feels "magical" about this team this year. Everyone has pretty much played up to their expectations, some players a bit below. Even Buchholz (this start aside) has really only produced what we could have hoped of him two years ago. He could have been their #2 or #3 starter going into the season if he had been productive last year.

The Angels have one of those magical moment twists with the Adenhart passing; the Yankees have the much-increased payroll and have been phenomenal this year; the Sox and Tigers have both been about as good as their rosters say they are, but neither is particularly special in my opinion. Both are on the cusp.

No. No it's not.

Just for tonight that's fine. As pessimistic as I may be about the Sox, I think they deserve the WC and I have no interest in stretching it out unnecessarily. Just win, Angels. Then lose.

Not really. They are just trying to get him feeling better before the playoffs.
No injections or anything? I think he is very important. Having him in the lineup give us a very strong 8 hitters, provided Tito can avoid the reflexive action of writing in Varitek's name, and if I have to I will give Kotchmann 4 flat tires before every game, cut his phone line and jam his cell signal.

Just got back from Fenway. It was a great game that really sucked. Those dongs Buchholz gave up were absolute bombs. I really though Pedro had a walkoff, and Youk had to be guessing there on 3-2.
