In fact, Dice-K going 7 strong is a win in my book. Whether we win or lose games at this point isn't really relevant. By Dice holding the Yankees in check for seven, we've secured a fourth playoff starter.

Geez, here we go again. Blame Francona for not starting Drew and Bay in a game that we all acknowledge was basically meaningless? I don't. I assume that if they were both well-rested and there were plenty of other opportunities for them to get rested then he would have used those games to rest them. This was his chance so he took it.

 

Hell, if I was a professional ball player and I had one more chance to either play a full game against CC I would probably take that chance too.
