Look, I know LaRoche has hit well since going to ATL, but he would not be hitting that well here. Kotchman is an .800 OPS player with tremendous defensive skills who is locked up for two more seasons at a very affordable rate.

 

LaRoche would be playing as much as Kotchman is now and he is a FA at the end of the season.

 

Now, refute my other points.

 

 

For the record he has a career OPS of .745 and is playing .542 since coming to Boston, although that may increase slightly after today's game. Not to mention that LaRoche is playing 1.072 in 40 games since our trade. If I know anything about which number is the greater number, it's easy to see that LaRoche is p'wning Kotchman right now.
