And replay shows there wasn't much to throw a flag for. It will be unfortunate if that call impacts the final result.

If only the players would just get off the field after scoring late. Seems like that happens all the time.

EDIT: I guess UGA's style is ridiculous end zone celebrations...

That was ridiculous? Seemed pretty tame, totally unorchestrated, and appropriate for the situation. But, I didn't care when Manny showboated on his HR trots, and KRod's histrionics after a save don't bother me either.

They are in proximate FG range from the start.

And now it doesn't matter.

Seriously, the officials have officially gone overboard with the celebration s***. CHILL. OUT.

They got the 2-pointer? They are lining up on my TV right now.

Must have a hell of a delay here in San Antonio.

Yeah LSU is up 20-13 with 40 seconds left. UGA ball on the 35.

Florida v. LSU is shaping up to be the game of the year (in terms of ranking).

The U is eliminating Oklahoma as a team worthy of being on the radar, which diminishes the Clash of the Titans atmosphere of the Red River Rivalry on October 17 vs. Texas.

EDIT: Of course, if Florida and Alabama can play the balance of their schedules without a loss, the SEC title game would be the defacto National Championship, IMO.

Also, Alabama vs. LSU later in the year should be a great game, especially if LSU can find a way to knock off Florida.

Yeah, and while I'm always in the "Anything can happen" camp, this year's LSU squad has not been as impressive as years passed. They are good, but I'd be surprised if they can pull off a win against Florida.

Oh, absolutely. I would be very surprised as well. Likewise, I'd be surprised if they were able to go into Alabama and get a win later in the year. It seems like we're headed for the same scenario as last year.

It's hard for me to read how good my team is after this Miami win. One the one hand, they did punch Miami in the mouth, and Miami has beaten 3 ranked opponents outside of the that game. However, of the teams Miami beat, only GT is looking like a quality win. FSU beat the pants off BYU, but lost to South Florida and BC. Oklahoma got beat by BYU, who lost to the afformentioned less than spectacular FSU.

I'm looking forward to the VT vs. GT game to shed some light on this.

I guessing your team is Virginia Tech?

Excellent team all around. I just don't trust the QB. Are you a Tyrod Taylor fan?

Not particularly. He's serviceable in the college game, but the QB phase of his career will end in Blacksburg, IMO.

Hahahaha what did "I" have on?

It would've been better if I was on a tv that had Tivo where I could pause it, but I thought you had a white hat and maybe a yellow BC shirt? I can't remember exactly, but I did think it was you. It wouldn't be your first tv appearance.

Hahah yeah that was me then. I've been on tv a lot at BC sporting events it seems.

I've been impressed with LSU's effort tonight. I thought if Tebow played, the quality of Florida's defense vs. LSU's undeveloped offense would kind of make the game a laugher. Kudos to LSU.

It's looking like the bigs are starting to hold serve. If that continues, Florida and 'Bama will battle it out for the right to play Texas.

And they were lucky to do so..

Tulsa owned them in the 4th quarter and had a shot at the end that shouldve at least tied the game.

You ever get sick of someone getting so much attention for being underrated that it actually makes them overrated??

This is a story just like that..

Idaho isnt a place that makes football players and Aryan nation isnt a hot bed of football talent either.

they recruit very well in Los Angeles and take what USC UCLA Cal Fresno and Oregon leave behind and theres a ton of talent to pick from but the kids that are left behind generally have issues.

He gets a lot of JC talent as well and their coach really gets the most out of the kids he recruits.

I mean how do you sell Idaho to a kid from Compton? It cant be easy.

Its a nice story and all, the smaller non bcs team being 5th ranked but the reality is there are at least 20 teams in America that would line up and run the ball down their proverbial throats with relative ease due to their smaller sized players..

You wont win too many games when their O line outweighs your Dline by 50lbs a man yet Boise is super competetive year in and year out.

Their record in conference play is like 37-4? Something insane like that.

However when they play off campus/non division life is more difficult.

They beat Bob Stoops and Oklahoma almost 3 years ago but Stoops hasnt won a bowl game in quite a while and when someone has a month to prepare for him they generally beat his ass, such is the legacy of Bob Stoops in January....

More than that I think. I think excluding Vanderbilt, just about any SEC team would line up and beat them. Way too fast. Plus, a number of other teams from the other BCS conferences and the Mountain West. I think Boise State is a good team, but they are nowhere near the top five and definitely shouldn't even be sniffing the top ten. Tulsa is pretty average and they struggled to beat them.

Remaining schedule:

Oct. 24 @ Hawaii

Oct. 31 vs. San Jose State

Nov. 6 @ LaTech (Friday)

Nov. 14 vs. Idaho

Nov. 20 @ Utah State (Friday)

Nov. 27 vs. Nevada (Friday)

Dec. 5 vs. NMSU

It's a shame they have Idaho at home. Idaho is pretty decent this year and if they were to get Boise at home, I think they could and might beat them.
