I know, how late and mediocre can I be???????

Sorry, my damn job got in the way!!!!

It's fine. Just don't let it happen again. <_>

:D:D

well Beckett could use a complete game shut out anyways. :D

That certainly would be sweet.

However, I'd be satisfied if he has remedied his mechanics and does his usual dominant s***.

Woo' date=' 7 outfielders on the roster.[/quote']

Maybe a700 will finally shut up about the thin outfield now.

Pffft' date=' that really wasn't difficult. Name every 2006 starting pitcher off the top of your head and I'll be impressed.[/quote']

Schilling, Beckett, Lester, and Wake are all I remember...

Only 3 are major leaguers capable of playing every day. The 4th major leaguer can only play twice a week. The rest of them should have to buy a ticket to get into Fenway for pennant chase baseball. Pray that Drew doesn't tweak one of the 10 or 20 parts of his body that he has been known to tweak. Pray that Ellsbury pops up after each of his diving catches without a limp or shaking an arm. If one of those things happens, a huge black hole will appear in the Red Sox lineup that would have a huge negative impact on the run production of the team. The OF is a thin as it was before.

But we have 3 first basemen, and Tito insists on giving the singles hitting Kotchman playing time at the expense of Lowell who has been crushing. This is to compound the effect of giving Tek ABs at Lowell's expense.

Lol the team's winning and you keep complaining.

Oh, and as things stand, neither of us will have to send the other Presidente.

This is boring. We have a big lead [over both you for the division and the Angels for home field], you won't be caught for the wild card by Texas or Tampa...boring September.

It bothers me when Tito feels the need to get Kotchman ABs at Lowell's expense. This is not for the puirpose of getting Lowell rest. He gets that when Varitek plays.

How so?

What a stupid move it was to get rid of LaRoche. Have you seen his numbers the last month?

Remember, either Drew or Mikey had to go on the DL for the sending of Presidente to happen.

Neither of them has gone on the DL, and they probably won't.

True. There would be no reason to DL either of them even if they get hurt, because of the expanded rosters. We could carry the bet over to next season. What do you think?

All the Ortiz haters should send me some El Presidente if he hits 30 HRs. You were with me on that one.

Devern Hansack' date=' Jason Johnson, Kevin Jarvis, David Wells, Kyle Snyder, David Pauley... and then I can't remember that many others.[/quote']

Josh Beckett, Curt Schilling, Tim Wakefield, Jon Lester, Matt Clement, Julian Tavarez, Kyle Snyder, David Wells, Lenny DiNardo, Jason Johnson, Kason Gabbard, Kevin Jarvis, David Pauley and Devern Hansack....so 14 starters

We should, but i'll lose for sure, and about the Ortiz bet, i should be entitled to at least 20% of all the Presidente you receive.
