The Sox will be just fine.. They are hitting very well as of late and Wake will keep them in the game for about 6 innings and last time a check the BP has been pitching pretty well the last couple of games. So with all of that said, the Sox should get a victory.

Kotchman playing for Lowell is a waste.

 

Francona is giving Lowell a day off with a right hand pitcher going. Nothing wrong with that. Kotchman will be just fine. He is hitting .280 with an OBP of .353. He will be just fine in the 8 hole.

WTF with playing Kotchman over Lowell again. Lowelll has been mashing. Send Kotchman for coffee and donuts and keep him on the bench with Varitek. Wakefield is bound to be erratic after having missed so much time not to mention that he is not close to 100 %. They are probably going to need a big offensive night. Why replace a big gun with punch and judy.

I understand sitting him when Varitek catches, because VMart can't catch every game, but there is no way he should be sitting in favor of Kotchman. Who cares if Kotchman is happy. He's a spare part. The DH spot is not available because you are not going to sit Ortiz when he is hitting HRs at a faster clip than anyone on the team. There is no freakin way that Kotchman should be starting tonight. None.

haha Amen! I'll will always be a kid at heart. I'm going to be 26 on friday and i have been thinking, Damn that's close to 30. So, I'm going to pretend I'm still 18. :D
