You're seriously asking?

He's being a trolling douche, and admittedly so.

This is exactly my point.

He complains that it's a discussion worthy topic, but then agree with someone who says there's not much to say about it. If there's not much to say about it, there's no reason for the thread. Not unless you have another motive, and Jacko clearly has another motive. He wouldn't post here if he didn't.

I'm want to ask jacksonianmarch and Gom a question, but in order to do so, I have to make an assumption, which is that both of you actually belong to a Yankees forum and post there frequently.

This is an honest question, by the way.

Are there Red Sox fans who hang out in that Yankee's forum like you guys do here? Are they loved the way your guys are here?

Yeah. I know. That's two questions.

Who the f*** said we love Gom and Jacko?

If it were up to me at least Jacko woul GTFO.

Yes there are Red Sox fans on Yankee forums. I almost exclusively post here though. The reason being is that I like debate. If I convince the forum here, then it's valid.

I digress. They have become part of the board, but they are not as well accepted because if there is anything more annoying than a smug Red Sox fan, it's a smug Yankee fan. Simply because we've had more practice at it.

I don't care for the Yankee boards for the simple fact that at least here, no one posts that the Red Sox should trade Ellsbury and Lowell for Albert Pujols. Rivalries aside, this is a sharp board with some really nice people.

Oh..and Dojji...I was banned from NYYFans in a New York Minute. Seriously.

I'm not surprised. A bit of rectal cellulose seems to be a moderator prerequisite over there.

I haven't noticed a big dip in velocity for Beckett. What I have noticed is that he doesn't have the same movement on his 2 seamer. This is important because it's such a nasty pitch for him that allows him to keep the ball on the ground for easy outs. Instead, hitters are elevating on him and knocking the ball out of the park. His curve is being left in the zone and it's getting hit hard. I think this is just a bump in the road for him and expect him to get back on track.

depends on the site. The YES forums didnt allow sox fans. I am banned there anyway for telling the mod that his site sucked and he was a moron. NYYFans have their standard trolls that run through but do have a couple sox fans that frequent the site. But at NYYFans, any sort of quelling of the ballwashing gets met with a ban. I said something about Kevin Brown smoking pole and then made a comment about Pavano being a ******** and I got the boot. There are two sites I frequent that bear yankee allegiance. One is a pretty dead site that got out of hand when a flame war started and the mods banned some good posters. The place became a wasteland. And the other one is also kinda dying, but has 3 sox fans who are regulars. So yes, there are lurkers from both sides on these sites.

Pretty stupid thread. I'm not worried about Beckett he's hit a rough spot and I agree with gom which pains me to say that it happens to everyone at some point. Roy hallady is going through the exact sane rough stretch, getting hit hard and giving up more runs than normal. What's wrong with hallady jacko? I do agree with whiskey breah that his 2 seamer has less movement. Beckett will be fine just be ready to face him in October

I was being sarcastic.

I know, but i really wanted to get the "Jacko needs to STFU or GTFO" point across.

You're here because you were emotionally scarred for life playing for Stoney.

You couldn't get Burnett's sac far enough down your throat the other night when he pitched a similar game. Both dominated with K's, were wild and allowed baserunners for it, and made mistakes that got hit out. Beckett just made one more mistake than Burnett.

So you want to compare starts. Okay.

AJ- 6IP 2H 3ER 3BB 12K - 4.50ERA 0.83WHIP 18.0K/9IP

Beckett- 5IP 5H 5ER 5BB 9K- 9.00ERA 2.00WHIP 16.2K/9IP

If you are gonna call those starts similar, then you are beyond help.

The stats aren't similar, because, like I said, of one swing of the bat. I said they pitched similar games, and they did.

Yeah, it really was, and anyone who watched both games or looked at the stats with some understanding of the "game of inches" nature of the sport would see that. You are only playing the fool because you've been caught applying your typical double standard.

Both dominated the opponent with K's. Both were wild, evidenced through the walks and mistakes that got hit out. Beckett made one more mistake over ~100 pitches. That's 1%. Only a great fool or someone with an agenda calls the way they pitched remarkably different.

Why do you even bother?

The man can barely type gagging on Burnett's cock.

How was it different? I dunno. Could be the fact that Beckett pitched one less inning, gave up 3 more hits, one more homer, 2 more walks, 2 more runs and 3 less strikeouts. But other than that, they were the exact same.

You like that strawman, don't you, the one where you go back to the counting stats that have already been acknowledged as dissimilar? Not surprising, that's kindergarden level thinking, which is par for the course in discussions with you.

Dumbass as usual. How the hell could you equate those two starts. Its not even close. There have been plenty others that you could equate with Beckett's last start. But not Burnett's last one.
