That only makes sense if we're judging him on this outing. If someone said "I'm so glad we traded him, he sucks" then that's SSS. Pointing out what he did in one game isn't.

I just don't see any reason to take this thread seriously. Kid had one bad outing while he's still stretching from relief to starting, big whoop, especially with that defense behind him.

So he got roughed up. Big f***ing deal. All pitchers get tagged. The Sox have pounded Doc on numerous occasions.

 

This kid has the goods. Why else would he be the center piece in a trade for the second best offensive catcher in the game? He's smart, competitive, athletic, tough, and loves the game. And he is young.

 

I'll continue to root for him wherever he plays.
