Looking for some ticket advice. I'm a life long Sox fan from Toronto, bringing my 9year old Boston fantic for the Wankee series(our first Fenway experience). We are looking to spend in around the $200.00 to $240.00 range via stubhub for the friday night game.Any recommendations as to best seating option.

people here will tell you youre a fool for buying from stubhub and that you should buy from a scalper just after the game has started but ive always liked the security of actually having my tickets when I leave for Boston. Ive always been in the bleachers, fun times

Only to sell but its perfectly legal for you to sell your tickets right outside the venue as long as you sell them for the ticket price, which most scalpers outside Fenway will do right before the game. I got grandstand seats for $40 against KC a couple weeks ago.

You do kind of run the risk of winding up with some pretty random seating arrangements don't you? I mean you can't control which seats the scalpers actually have right?

If you're trying to make a memorable experience for a kid I can see paying the extra for a bit of security.

Thanks for the advice everyone.Has anyone ever used the link from this site"ONLINE TICKETS" at the bottom of the page. Are they credible?

They're pretty good seats. You'll have to turn to your left to see most of the action, which is annoying. The seats are on field level.

If you don't mind me asking, how much would you be paying for these?

I have had luck on e-bay especially when you can receive a link to print tickets at home so you have them in hand when you go to the ball park.

If you are a member of Red Sox Nation you can also go to the message board and post a request for tickets.

If you do go to Fenway without tickets, go to Gate B two hours before the game. This is sometimes referred to as the scalp free zone. A representative from the Red Sox will be outside the gate with a clipboard. He will have a list of tickets available for sale for that day's game. They are face value and cash only. So you may need to have $100.00 to $200.00.

Also if you are purchasing tickets on line, use there are links that show seat location at Fenway and their rating. I have used precise seating is very accurate. Good Luck!

I agree. The only fear I have is a rainout. With scalpers I can pretty much wait right up until game time to see how the skys look.

Hopefully it's not too late for this. I brought my 10 year old daughter to a game and got inexpensive Pavilion Box SRO tickets. Tickets are cheap, view is incredible, and lots of foul balls will come your way. You do have to stand but you'll be leaning on a bar. I just sat my 10 year old right up on top of the bar and she had a great seat.

Also, preciseseating.com has an incredible amount of details on every seat in the park.
