True. No team has ever lost a World Series when having an opportunity to close out the series and being one strike away from a championship.

See the 1986 Red Sox.

Lol 0-3, don't even try.

An interesting paradox. They are cocky yet have no penis.

Gom, I'm still waiting, how in the world is the fact that the Yankees have never blown a lead of this size at this point in the season relevant to this year?

What I'm saying, my mental midget, is that I deal with the norm, and not the exception to the rule. Sooner or later, a team was going to lose after being up 3-0. See the 2004 Yankees. Sooner or later, a team is going to lose after being one strike away from a World Championship. See the 1986 Red Sox.

Sooner of later, a team is going to be up 3-0 AND be a strike away from the championship...and lose. Sooner or later....everything will happen, given enough time.

However, there are probabilities. The chance of the Red Sox winning the division, I would figure, would be in the single digits....if not in decimals. Of course, anything can happen....

Just don't hold your breath.

Just showing that using the same team througout history, when in the same position...actually, there is little significant relevance, if any. I forgot that there are intelligent Yankee fans here, and I'm not dealing with the bottom spectrum of human intelligence.

Why'd you ruin my fun? I could have gone hours spouting an irrelevant statistic and used it as if it was relevant and a proven fact. Like...ORS or the departed JHB.

Damn you.

No I doubt. Neither does Jacko. I sit here and take it. You just don't like it when I give it back. It hurts your vagina too much.
