Excellent post. Except for what I have bolded. Never cool to refer to oneself in the 3rd person. Not under any circumstances. Nails on a chalk board. Unecessary. Narcissistic.

I am far from a snobby elitest. Guess I should have given you a break for being "extra-pissy" today. We're all feeling that way about the Sox, but it doesn't excuse the 3rd person reference. Unless, of course, you are a professional athelete with a huge ego. Because we can just laugh those people off.

Good job by Clay, this was a big game for him facing the best lineup in baseball in Yankee Stadium and he put together a quality start. The walks will have to come down to be successful long term but it was a gutsy outing for him. Hard to win games when your team can't score ANY runs.

The only bad thing about these game threads is that I'm at the game, so I can't enjoy them live. They make for good reading when I get back though. I LOVE IT!
