Cashman mustnt have liked the starters on the market, or he thinks a good amount will get through waivers and would wait until a dire need arose. I have to say I am a bit disappointed that we didnt get in on the Washburn sweeps, but the rumors circulating that the M's wanted Hughes or Chamberlain should be enough to quell that need. That being said, I would have liked some pitching depth aside from Hirsch (who doesnt exactly qualify as pitching depth).
