Is this game fixed?

I wouldn't go that far, but this is definitely one of the most one sided home plate umpires that I can ever remember seeing. If he squeezed Lester AND Halladay that would be one thing. If he called everything strikes for Halladay AND Lester, that's alright. But I don't get how he can have such polar opposite strike zones for each pitcher.

Eric Cooper. He usually has a small strike zone (starters give up more than 6 runs on average when he's calling a game). But for whatever reason, he's decided to give Halladay virtually every call.

Thank you, I hold grudges and this guy is on the list.

Looked like it. Just some normal Canada on Canada violence.

I'd say it's the alcohol content in Canadian beer, but the only beer they serve at Blue Jays games is Budweiser (and they cost $9.50). What an embarrassment to Canada...

CB Bucknor is the only umpire I don't like. But I'm going to be wary of this guy next time he's behind the plate in a Red Sox game.

What about the guy who called Ellsbury out at home against I think KC?

Where is the Molson eh?

Molson needs to hire that Miller High Life guy to go into the stadium and replace all those $9.50 Budweisers with some $4 Molsons with some Canadian alcohol content.

That's an isolated incident. An umpire only gets on my s*** list if they consistently make bad calls. And I don't know too many fans of any team who like Bucknor.

Last time I was at Fenway an umpire called out Youkilis on what was very clearly a check swing. The guy behind me said, "Who's at first, CB Bucknor?" And when I looked out there, sure enough it was.

The strike zone may have been an issue today. But overall, the Sox offense has been anemic since the Natinals series, it seems.

Yeah, I agree. Our offense has really struggled.

This is true no matter what the zone was the bats have been ice cold and that is the real problem.

Exactly. I went to Olympic Stadium once and they served Molson. I think the beer was the same price as my ticket.

At least the game was only 2:15.

With our win, back to one game out.

Hopefully Texas puts a hurting on you on the road, and we take care of business at home, and tie for first by the end of the next series.
