A lot of the people who appear on this list are either confirmed or have been under heavy suspicion.

Same thought process over here.

However, let's check out the actual media reaction.

This might actually hit the nal on the head quite a few times.

This is just like when the "rumored" Mitchel Report was "leaked" the a day or two before it was supposed to be released and have the Red Sox team was supposedly on it.

Posted
Was this list done by a Yankee fan -- listing 8 Red Sox players right at the top, and only the team's biggest stars? No Ryan Rupe, no Casey Fossum. Hmmm? It reminds me of the phoney Mitchell Report list that came out before the Mitchell Report was released.

Eeeeexactly. It's just a guy with a blog no one reads trying to get attention.

They weren't the ones who first posted it.

Still, the Red Sox first thing seems quite fishy.

I honestly just posted it for discussion value.

isnt the list supposed to be 104 people in all? if it is' date=' then ARod's name shouldnt be on that list[/quote']

Yeah, the list is clearly bogus. It also names people who were caught for hGH, which steroids testing doesn't test for.

I'm not trying to say that I believe the list, but you shouldn't cite the fact that 8 Red Sox players were at the top of the list as evidence that it is fake. It is grouping the players by team...

If you open your eyes and look at the list it's in alphabetical order by team sorted by divisions, beginning with the AL East, so the Red Sox being on the top of the list isn't a conspiracy against your beloved Red Sox by an evil Yankee fan who lives under a bridge.

Still, the Red Sox first thing seems quite fishy.

See above, Huggies.

...now if you ask me this list is ********. First off, there were 104 positive tests, not 103. And 104 positive tests doesn't necessarily mean 104 players tested positive, some players may have tested positive more than once that year. And like 700 observed and noted, when you look at the list 95% of it is made up of notable players. I find it hard to believe the only guys testing positive that year were All-Stars, starters, and big money guys. No fringe names on that list definitely raises an eyebrow. And if there were any legitimacy to this list there would be breaking news alerts on ESPN right now.

I'll stick to believing it was the evil Yankee's fan under the bridge.

BTW I've been to New York and there are a bunch of Yankee's fans living under bridges (and in boxes)

Just a joke btw so nobody wet your pants in anger I prefer to argue with beligerant Yankee's fans in person.

And if you knew your alphabet you'd know that Baltimore came before Boston. The list isn't in any logical order. Just looks like a guy went through 2003 rosters team by team until they had 103 players, then forgot there were supposed to actually be 104 if he included A-Rod.

Last I checked Baltimore comes before Boston in the alphabet.

Fake.

Are you retarded, sir?

If not, it sure looks like it since you keep using that joke to gain entrance to the short bus.

Did I offend you to the point that you needed to change your username? lol

And believe me, I have no intentions of joining you on the short bus.

This seems like somebody's "wish list" rather than an actual list. Since when did only all stars and above average players take roids? What about the guy that couldn't play baseball without them? I'm not saying that the loser who made this fake list is out to get (only) the Sox, but this definitely looks like someone's wish list. I'm looking at you GOM.
