So, how long do the Sox stick with Dice K's bad luck? Oh, excuse me, he doesn't suck, he must be injured. Of course, there is the possibility that he could be following the pattern taken by other Japanese pitchers, who turned to garbage in their third year in the major leagues without being injured. Can the Sox even consider trading Penny until Dice K turns things around?

Can we not trade Penny please? I've said this before, but not only is he doing pretty damn well for us, but I doubt he would get much in return. With the s*** filled sushi roll that is Dice-K, trading a starter is a bad idea.

Oh my. More hostility. I've seen a lot of it here (on the GT) tonight. How about calling a truce and not making personal attacks on each other. Everyone on the board wants the Sox to win. With the exception of the Yankees fans. Everyone's views are valid. Even Jacko's comment was worthwhile.

 

Dice is a REAL problem. I think trading Penny at this point is premature and would gain us nothing of value.

Penny has been very serviceable, over all. I want to see what Smoltz brings before there are any trades involving pitchers. Whether it is Smoltz or Buck, someone will fill the void created by Dice.

 

Let's not forget that we still have the luxury of Masterson. Either as a long reliever, or as a starter.

Just got back. s***** game, they were so flat today. Hit horrific traffic on the Mass Pike, just got there for the start. The only salvo was that I took my 9 year old Godson and Bay went yard. The kid was so pumped, he absolutely loves the guy. His mother is going to kill me, I took him to McDonald's on the way there then got him a dog, fries, chicken tenders, Powerade, Lemonade, and some frozen s*** in a squeeze tube inside Fenway.

It was fairly entertaining because the game sucked and the chicks have their spaghetti string tops out in force now. Lots of bouncing boobs in beer soaked tops, jumping, yelling, pointing. It was a Man Show moment.
